3bucks and the Huffington Post

I’m excited that I got a chance to blog about the project on The Huffington Post.  You may or may not know about HP, but it’s big.  Very big.  Among my fellow bloggers in the last week?  Hillary Clinton.

100% pure awesome.

Also: Vancouverites, check out a copy of Metro tomorrow morning for an interview.

The attention is starting to pick up!

The blog post reminds me of a concept talked about in the book “The Four-Hour Work Week” — most people set reasonable, attainable goals. As such, the competition for success is very high. If you set audacious goals, nobody else is competing…

Keep steamrolling this one — props for having enough guts to make it work thusfar. If you fall short, this still makes a remarkable story in terms of fundraising.

Wicked man. There’s been a lot of work put in to this, and all for an extremely worthwhile cause. Hopefully this can create some traction that gets you closer to your goal.

We dedicated one post-ulti bill to you tonight, and we’ll donate it tomorrow. Marijke was going to donate $3. but I talked her up to $45! ;)

Wow! I don’t know who this Kim is in the NWT, but I think you should marry her, B! She sounds like the exact type of person this thing needs to get rolling, and the type that is so rare in this world. Someone who gets that passionate and that involved in a cause that so clearly does not personally benefit her (but just as clearly benefits others– potentially thousands of others, and at least one other) is worth knowing, admiring and imitating.

On behalf of all the young impressionables out there, thanks Kim, and thanks B for getting her attention.

Hey B’s sister! Thats an awfully nice thing to say and so kind of you! :) It is honestly my pleasure though! I wish I could do more and will def keep trying to! Ur bro is the real inspiration here for me, what a guy! And with such potential and ambition to make such a difference for so many. So refreshing to say the least! I see the family he comes from is equally amazing and supportive. Thanks again for your kind words and I hope you are having a great day!
