I have a meeting with my supervisor in about 20 minutes, and I am going to have to bashfully tell her that I haven’t got any more of my dissertation done because I’ve been asking people for 3 dollars each. It’s a good thing she’s understanding.
Some of the more unique components for the site are coming, but not quite there (for example, you might notice the Randomizer doesn’t actually randomize, it just keeps showing ‘Brendan is a Photographer’. Well, there are dozens more facts to get up there, once the tech stuff is right (I just pick the pretty pictures while more clever people help make it work…).

She is understanding. I feel these meetings are therapeutic. Claire (my supervisor) let’s me discuss my fundraising, then nicely suggests ways to raise money. She doesn’t seem to mind too much right now that I spent most of my time last week planning on how to raise $90K, and little on studying environmentalism in product design.
I’m a lucky student.
